Mission Statement

Illinois Volunteers is a program to provide the citizens of Illinois a meaningful way to join the effort to make their communities and our state a safer, more secure place to live. This program welcomes young people and adults from any region of the state to assist with response ranging from unskilled tasks to professional fields of expertise, all working together to assist their neighbors in times of disaster.
